These are the terms for using Talusi and Talusi HQ (together, the "Service"), operated by NNA Innovations Pvt Ltd ("Talusi", "we", "us"). They are short on purpose: they say what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and who is responsible for what when a group drive happens. The Privacy Policy is a separate document and explains everything about your personal data; nothing here reduces it.
01Who we are, and what the Service is
Talusi is a companion app for road trips and group drives. The Talusi app is for the people who drive: recording drives, keeping an event's route and chat in one place, and getting your group along the road together. Talusi HQ is the organiser console clubs and trip operators use to run those events. Both are made by NNA Innovations Pvt Ltd, based in India.
02Who can use it
- Talusi is an 18+ service, made for licensed drivers and the people who drive with them. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and do not open accounts for anyone under 18.
- One account per person, in your own name. You sign in with a phone number verified by one-time code, or with Google or Apple. Keep your device and sign-in secure; what happens under your account is your responsibility until you tell us it was not you.
- Organiser accounts on Talusi HQ are invited by an administrator. They are not self-created.
03Events are run by organisers
Clubs and trip operators run their own events on Talusi. When you register for an event, you are dealing with that event's organiser: it is their event, their route, their rules and their guest list. We provide the platform.
- Registration and payment. The organiser decides what an event costs and how it is paid. Payments are made to the organiser, not to Talusi; the app only keeps the record of what was received and refunded. Refunds follow the organiser's policy for that event.
- Safety and conduct on the road. The organiser is responsible for the event: the route, the briefing, the marshals, permits and any insurance the event needs. You are responsible for your vehicle, your driving, your passengers and obeying the law wherever the road takes you. Group drives, and off-road drives in particular, carry real risk that neither the organiser nor Talusi can remove.
- The organiser's data. Under the Privacy Policy, an organiser is an independent data fiduciary for the registrations they collect. Organisers using Talusi HQ agree to collect only what their event needs, to use it only for that event, to keep it safe, and to honour deletion requests promptly.
04Driving and the app
- Do not operate the app while driving. Set up a recording or an event before you move off, and let it run. Drive recording and convoy position sharing are designed to work with the screen off.
- The app shows information; it does not make driving decisions. Routes, positions and timings can be late, wrong or missing when the network is. Carry your own navigation and a way to communicate, especially in remote areas.
- Talusi is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call the local emergency number.
05Location and your drives
Talusi uses your location only for things you start yourself: recording a drive, and showing your position to your convoy while an event is live. Shared event positions can also mark your group present at an open stop when automatic rollcall is enabled; you can correct attendance manually. Event sharing can be turned off, and keeping it active with the screen off is a separate choice limited to the event's live window. Personal drive recording keeps running with the screen off until you stop it. Your drives are yours: you can name them, group them into trips, and delete them at any time. Your event history appears in your Passport only if you choose to claim it.
06Community rules
Event chats, photos, profile pictures and names are shared with the other people on that event. So that every group stays a place people want to be:
- No harassment, threats, hate or discrimination of any kind.
- No sexual content, no gore, no content that is illegal in India.
- No spam, scams, impersonation or sharing another person's private details.
- Share only photos and videos you have the right to share.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every message and every profile can be reported from inside the app, and you can block anyone at any time; blocking hides that person from you across the event. We act on reports within 24 hours, removing the content and, where warranted, the account that posted it. Organisers can remove messages from their own event's chat.
07Your content
What you post stays yours. By posting it, you give Talusi and the event's organiser permission to store it and show it to the other people on that event, which is the only reason you posted it. We do not use your photos or messages in marketing without asking you first, and we do not sell them or share them outside the event.
08What you agree not to do
Do not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the Service; do not try to get into accounts, events or data that are not yours; do not use the Service to break the law or another person's rights; and do not use automated tools against it without our written permission.
09Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep Talusi running and improving, and we may add, change or retire features. The Service is provided as it is and as it is available; we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise any event's outcome.
10Responsibility and limits
To the fullest extent Indian law allows: we are not responsible for how an organiser runs an event, for the conduct of other participants, for damage to vehicles or property, for injury on the road, or for indirect losses of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and does not allow us to limit.
11Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Delete account) or by email; the Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and when. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms other users, or puts the Service at risk; where we can, we tell you why.
12App store terms
If you installed the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your download. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms, are not responsible for the Service or its support, and, in Apple's case, may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary.
13When these terms change
When we change these terms we update this page, raise the version number and effective date above, and tell you in the app before the change applies. Where a change is material, we ask you to accept it again before you continue.
14Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go first to us, in writing, and we try to resolve them within thirty days; if that fails, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
